Had beef tender, but couldn't chew it, Bartlett farm salad- just average, service slow but that's OK; dessert was delicious. I would try other restaurants!
The bar and overall ambiance at Oran Mor are absolutely charming! We sat at the bar, sipped champagne and enjoyed conversation with the bartender who recommended several dishes to try. The braised short ribs with ricotta ravioli appetizer was outstanding. My husband loved the house cured salmon and we both loved the oysters! Lamb tenderloin was a show stopper. The...

The food was top notch, the service exemplary, lovely interior, and I highly recommend the deck with table outside if you are lucky to get it!
We visited Oran Mor during restaurant week in September. Nantucket has many outstanding eateries. Oran Mor is among the best. Food is 'perfectly just right' and beautifully presented. Staff is eager to help, very personable, and knowledgeable. It's a cozy little upstairs place with great ambiance. Low-key and comfortable.

It wasn't good. It was perfect. We each got the tasting menu (which at $85 for 7 courses was an incredible value!)...

Menu is different and very good. One of my favorites on the island. Staff is courteous and knowledgeable.
My boyfriend and I returned to Oran Mor in September 2012 after we had a stellar 7-course tasting in September 2011.
Our meal was once again guided by Erik, an informed lover of food and wine. Erik made the dining decisions for us and let us try numerous wines to see how they paired with each of our courses.
