Love the diner atomosphere, quick friendly service, great food, homemade bread. A very popular place, started to line up after 10am on a Sunday. There is also very little parking nearby and all the side streets are filled with student's cars so wear your walking shoes or wait in the small parking lot like I did until someone leave. The... I have visited AA once a year for the last 4 years. Each time, the several different people I have visited all insist on breakfast at Angelo's. I agree, it's very good basic breakfast food. A legend? Only in local's minds. It's not even close to say, Bottega Louie in Los Angeles, or Bouchon in Las Vegas, or .....but I... More

i have eaten here for breakfast many times, some on football saturdays. the crowds and the line can be long, as the restaurant is not very big. it is a lunch counter type of place, but the food is always good. i have had omelets and always seem to order the fresh raisin toast. the toast is one of their... This place was recommended by our friends who studied in the University. and we were not disappointed. The omelet that are made here are some of the most flavorful well seasoned ones. The specialty is also their homemade breads, their raisin bread are big size. I prefer ordering from the omelette and Farm fresh egg breakfast sections.

French toast has no competition in Ann Arbor. They also do all of the other breakfast foods to a T. Be prepared to wait in line on a weekend morning.

Been there several times while visiting family in Ann Arbor. It's become a destination spot. As others have noted, service is slow, but oh my what a breakfast! I love the light pancakes--with or without added ingredients. Raisin toast on the side is a bit pricey but totally delicious. Service is slow but accommodating. Try to get there about 11AM.... More

I have been hearing about Angelo's ever since I started working at the University a few years ago. We invited a client from out of town and went to lunch there , and I was excited to try it. It's bustling, quaint and appeared to be quite clean. Menu was plentiful without trying to be all things to all people.... More

This place was very close to my workplace. We would go there because there aren't many other places to eat in the area (Jimmy John's is the next closest place, unless you're counting the hospital cafeteria). I don't like going there because you smell like fried food ALL DAY afterwards. Seriously, it just penetrates your hair and every time you... More

My family's experience was the same as nearly everyone who visits here. Great food, good service, reasonable prices and be prepared for a wait. You're warned up front about the wait, so there's no excuse to complain or be impatient. IMO I've been to other places where the food is just as good, but if you're in A2 and you... More

Located beside the UMich's Medical Center and just a stone throw away from Central Campus, this diner consistently serves some of the best breakfasts and lunches I've ever had. A helluva lot of people agree with me on this: that's why it's always crowded (reservations are recommended).
