if you visit this restaurant you will see the owner Khatana. She will great you with smile. I love this restaurant because the food is very tasty, simple and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very different compare to other cambodian restaurant in Siem Reap.

Our guide joked about the fish amok, but it was well worth the wait (35-40 minutes) to have it freshly prepared. The eggplant with pork was also fantastic. We enjoyed it so much, we went back a second time!

we arrived at 3pm and there was no drama, we ordered lunch which was yummy especially the chicken sates. Thought the drinks were expensive though - still great value for money in a nice upstairs deck of a big timber house

My husband and I went to take lunch at 1pm and it was quite calm. My husband ordered a Amok - he still dreams with this dish... Try the Satey (a chicken in a stick with peanet souce) it is delicious! Just another tip - try the coconut ice cream ($1.50) - it is best coconut ice cream ever!

We had our last meal in Siem Reap at the Sugar Palm restaurant. The food and service were both very good. The only reason that it get 4 stars and not 5 is the price. We had similar meals at comparable establishments that cost less. Still, I would go back again merely for their chicken satay appetizer!
