Very cozy little place in xiamen. Its a bet of a drive from down town. Its a house that was converted to an american grill where u can get burgers and tex mex. good place to chill out with friends and enjoy a burger and nachos.

There is now "ROY'S RED ARMADILLO" It is in a great location! Roy's Red Armadillo seats up to one hundred people, which is great for parties. They have a variety of foods and drinks. You will always find service with a smile! :D
Run by an expat who, unlike some western businessmen in China, has a good honest establishment. The food is good and plentiful. A little hard to find but worth a visit for some good western food that won't break the budget.
The Red Armadillo won't compare to a typical burger joint in the United States. This restaurant was in a cool part of town and it was definitely worth the cab ride to find it. Had been eating Chinese food for the past two straight days and needed something different. It's perfect place for brunch, the american menu' give you the best of what American kitchen can give you, not so much, but everything well made and not expensive.
The Red Armadillo is the kind of restaurant/cafe that you go to for respite. It just feels right to eat a hamburger with fries every once in awhile....keeps the ex-pats from getting too homesick.
This restaurant is a favorite among many of my friends, but I haven't really had a mind-blowing experience here and I've visited several times. Burgers are their specialties and they're okay. Chili cheese fries are pretty good, but what isn't when you add chili and cheese? Pretty pricey for what it is and the location is really out of the...
