The food is good the place is nice, the only problem is the menu which doesn't change for many years, boring.

Different Menu but same problem with consistency as House 2. The setting in a refurbished old Chinese house is very nice but the food sometimes leaves something to be desired, quality is very inconsistent.

The staff speak decent Eenglsih and the food is wonderful. Menu is California style. Loved the Asian chicken salad, beef bacon and artichoke pizza topped off with a molten chocolate cake for dessert.

The House #1 is my favorite place in Xiamen! Such great risotto, bowtie bread, and atmosphere! Haven't tried the House #2, but heard it's not as good and the menu isn't as extensive. The House #1 is located by Zhongshan Park off a side street in a cute little colonial building with big trees growing around it. Love it!

Great food for a good value. I really enjoyed hot skillet with beef and homemade raviolli with portwine sauce.
