This is a great way to spend the evening during the summer months. The Flying J Wranglers entertain before dinner in the old west town, and then serve a chuckwagon dinner. Afterwards they play and sing.

I was going to name this review, 'great birthday meal' but the chuck wagon is more than simply a meal! It is theater and music and comedy, a whole variety of entertainment! The cheesy jokes and the comedic acting start the experience very pleasantly, horse rides for the kids are great, the show is very well done and the talent... More

We are locals, and make sure we attend at least once or more per year and always take guests who visit from out-of-town. The show alone is worth the price of admission and having dinner as well, is a real bargain. The talent of the Flying J Wranglers is amazing. Anyone who likes music and laughter must visit the Flying... More

I thought that the gold panning could have used someone there to help the children as they kind of had to figure it out on their own, the deputy training was really just talking and giving them a badge and a paper to have signed, the gun show was funny but I do not think it was for kids, my... This was the highlight of our trip to Ruidoso. Some of the activities the kids enjoyed before dinner were gold panning, roping, pony rides and a gun fight. Dinner was served chuck wagon style with your choice of chicken or beef, beans, baked potato, applesauce, rolls and spice cake. It was delicious. After dinner the Flying J Wranglers put on... More

Other reviewers have captured the environment pretty well. It's almost built like a movie set of an old western town. There were a lot of reasonably priced souvenirs and everyone was willing to pose for pictures. Each staff member had more roles than Eddy Murphy in a "Nutty Prefessor" movie. They cooked, parked cars, worked in shops, performed in the... More

This is a replica of an old western town with gold panning, pony rides, target shooting, a jail, roping, and a shoot out. The filling and good food were followed by a fabulous country singing show! Worth every dollar and so very reasonable for the quality of the food and the entertainment!! 8 of us went, we the grandparents (69... More

We had 13 people in our family group and we all had a great time. Bring a few extra dollars so your kids can take a pony ride and / or target practice ($2 per kid per activity). Owners and staff are all super friendly. They really seem to have fun and that makes it more fun for the audience.... More
