The rooftop terrace was the most romantic setting for a meal. Bugs kept at bay by the incense. Food was European, but perfectly cooked and presented.

We ate in every restaurant during our stay and could not fault any of them. If you are lucky to visit Udaipur, you must eat in this hotel.

Their new policy does not allow non-residents to even come over for lunch or dinner! Very disappointed as the hotel rooms were full, so we tried to at least visit.

I can only comment on the Indian restaurant (Neel Kamal) and the breakfast, both of which were superb. We went there for lunch on a friends recommendation - there was a minimum charge of $100 pp for lunch. The food was mediocre and the service worse than average. We were most disappointed

The food is simply great. Great for me (a foodie) great for husband (a health nut) great for my kids (picky) rooftop is amazing experience. The need work on their cocktails and timing though. They didn't offer a drink menu, we had to ask, then drinks and wine came with entree (3rd course) weird.

We are here for 5 days and it is a once in a lifetime experience. Everything, rooms, service, food and ambiance are perfection.

we had three meals at lake palace . the indian veg food is amazing . the neel kamal resturant has a lot of indian options and they can make anything yu like even if not on menu. the breakfast is amazing especially the masala dosa.
