Pantai Mengiat Jalan location (not Bali Collection). Always a pleasure eating at Tropical. Starters were spring rolls - fresh filling and crunchy outer - followed by seafood risotto & Bali style duck - very moist & tender. Staff are really nice, especially our waiter Agus - made us laugh :-) We'll be going bacl soon.

First time in Bali, Nusa Dua .. Went to this restaurant for dinner on the way back from the beach. Got a seafood platter for $35.. What can say average quality, snapper was good everything else was salty and over cooked.. I love spices but it was too much.... Did not even finish it. Waited for beer for beer for... More

I have visited Tropical restaurant in Mengiat Street many times. Last week we ordered drinks in the Happy Hour which was not honoured by the restaurant. My friend ordered the John Dorey and it was very overcooked and like rubber so she couldnt eat it. This situation was not dealt with to our satisfaction and we feel that we have... More

Have been to Bali 12 times in the last 18 months and stay at Novotel Nusa Dua. Have had previous problems with food at Tropical Mengiat. Friends at Bali for the first time wanted to dine at Tropical Mengiat. What a mistake that i did not insist across the road at Prada. Complained to the manager of Tropical due to... More

Dined at the Tropical in Pantai Mengiat, the restaurant seems to have been renovated recently and now has an Argentinian BBQ/all you can eat offering. We stuck to the seafood and Indonesian food and all was great even after eating at Boneka for breakfast and Kayuputi for lunch - you get what you pay for and we were satisfied. Cocktails... More

The Tropical bar and grill has only been open about 4 months. The restaurant has under cover, open air and elevated patio dining. With plenty of staff we had attentive service. Live music was an enjoyable extra. The non alcoholic cocktails ( especially the strawberry) were delicious. We decided on the light meals (about $5 au) and they were fresh... More
