If you make a reservation, ask for the balcony. The sunsets are wonderful, especially with the great view right in front of you. The food was terrific, beautifully served and reflected local cusine. If you are adventurous, try Janets Favourite drink - lime, tumeric and honey - weird but very nice and great for settling stomaches. Pricing was good, better... More

Having enjoyed a quick visit to this place during the day, a group of us decided to try it at night and both the view and the dinner at this place is divine and delicious.

The introduction to the menu of the Indus connects the naming of the restaurant to the great mother river and the birth place of civilization in the Indus valley presumable Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro - Indus is a very likeable restaurant interesting comfortable interior with a view best enjoyed at lunch or early evening the staff are attentive full of Balinese... We were going to have our wedding dinner here, i'm so dissapointed we didn't! We ended up having the wedding party here the night before for the Banquet meal. Standouts were the beef rendang, the noodles, to be honest I can't remember the names i just ate a bit of everything and after 2 weeks in Bali it was THE... More

We have enjoyed eating at Indus restaurant for the last 6 years. Every time we go to Ubud,(which is 4 times a year now) this is the restaurant of choice, The quality of food is consistent; always excellent and served in a timely fashion. It poured with rain during our lunch here, which only added to the atmosphere. Loved the food, staff & style of this place. Will be back next visit.

Indus is a good restaurant with one amazing view (make sure you sit out on the terrace). The menu here has a lot on offer and the food is tasty. The service here is of average Balinese standards (in no hurry) but in saying that the food was delivered promptly. Overall Indus is definitely a place to try!

In March I visited Indus for the 4th time with my family. I have to say it all looked like it needs a lick of paint and a bit of a spruce up. Even the toilet was dirty and shabby. The food was ok and the view from the balcony lovely but the service just ok too. I ordered an... More

We came for lunch after a busy drive up from Benoa, past the jewellery places and the monkey forest. It was hot outside but Indus was lovely and cool. We sat outside on the balcony, the views were calming and peaceful. Food was great, drinks particularly the assortment of juices amazing and service excellent. Pricing was good. Definitely one of the... More
