Possibly the best crispy duck on the planet, I love this place. The food is awesome, the chili dip for the duck, and the greens that come with it are the perfect compliments to the delicious crispy duck. The setting is great, sit close to the back if you can, so your close to the rice fields. Go in the... More

I'm a travel agent. I wanted to find some reviews or pictures to pass on to a client as I thought the Dirty Duck was one of the most amazing experiences I ever had. Sure the food is not the greatest... but NOTHING can top this setting! Each table has a pagoda of its own 1/2 a city block away... More

We went to the Dirty Duck a couple of years ago and haven't bothered to find it again mainly because we went there especially for the Duck which my husband adores. When it finally came it was so chargrilled and shrivelled he couldn't find any meat on it. We asked for another one and when it came it wasn't much... More

We tried the smoked duck which needs to be ordered 8hrs in advance. It was good- very tender and covered in aromatic spices which provide a deep rich flavour (do not order if youre not a fan of cloves) but I was expecting something more. I envisaged somethin like peking duck with more of a wood smoke flavour but this... More

We heard about this restaurant from our Touragent. So we went on March, 5 th. 2012. The garden is very dark, at night. We had to wait long, before someone came for our drinks. We ordered the "famous" crispy duck. What a disapointment. The duck had no meat, at all! IT was prepared and tasted "old". The rice andere potatoes... More

It started with an indifferent greeting from the man at the front entrance, then followed by a waiter saying 'follow me' and leading us almost to the back of the restaurant where we were handed over to a woman talking on a two way radio. We were seated at a table right next to the gents toilets - despite there... More

A beautiful setting, stunning high roofed building and candlelit gardens, original crispy duck just like the Ubud restaurant together with interesting menu. Eat here and feel the true Balinese atmosphere.
