I have been there so many times, since they opened.. i travel all around the world and i eat a lot of meat, but its very hard to impress me since i eat at the BBQ house where the beef actually tastes like beef and the service is very good.. price is good for quality and i love the fact... More

The steak is good if you can get it cooked the way you actually like it. Their idea of medium is more like medium rare. Also the meat price is based on weight so you can have the same weight of meat and drink cost you 3 different prices each time you go. They also only take cash which sucks... More

Amazing high-grade steaks sliced fresh off the shank according to your size choice. Pricing is right on par with typical steakhouse prices, but the portions are generous. A bit out of the way in Hsinchu, but the sign is easy to spot. It seems to be a popular spot for foreigners, and it's quite small, so make a reservation ahead... More

When I go to a steak house in Taiwan, I want STEAK - and a lot of it! A place where 'medium' doesn't mean bloddy and rare. I don't care if it's "poorly decorated" or not, I just want good quality, fresh beef. I'd prefer a regular place to a high-end restaurant that charges ridiculous prices for ity-bitty portions about... More

Other reviews said the place is poorly decorated, and... well... maybe they are right. BUT: The place is great. Go in and get seated. Order your soup/salad, then go to the meat counter where you steak (or salmon or pork) is cut to the thickness you want. If you're not sure how you'd like it cooked they'll talk you through... More

This is the absolute best steak I have ever eaten in Taiwan. The beef is flown in fresh, USDA black Angus. The soups are good as well as the sides. Good selection of beer and wine as well as soft drinks. The owner will come out and greet you at your table unless they are very busy. This place can... More

This restaurant is on a somewhat out of the way street, but is very well run with attentive service and modern music. We were carefully instructed on the different cuts of meat and could choose our own cuts and thicknesses. This attentive service produces a dish made just for you. The fries were also delicious. Prices are fairly high compared... More

I really enjoyed the steak here from the first day I came. The price you pay for the steak that you get is lower than what you pay at other places. I also enjoy the salmon that they serve here. Since eating here I do not eat steak anywhere else, because I do not want to be disappointed. The quality... More

I've never had a better steak than what they serve here. I've seen a lot of places in Europe, but none serves such a great steak. Whenever I get back to Taiwan, I visit this place. Even if it's only for the steak. Great owner, Asian but native American speaker, unlike most other personnel but it is sufficient.

Meat may be good, but It is ridiculously overpriced for what it is; it's a poorly decorated average restaurant on a street in Hsinchu. Service is not the best either...
