Fabulous feast that threatens a food coma. A must do in Hoi An. The food just keeps coming and the wrapping makes it all the more delectable. The dipping sauce is to die for with lots of sambal added.

Tucked away off the main drag this street cafe serves only one dish. It only needs to serve one dish. Tasty, fun, relaxed. Dont leave Hoi An without stopping by.
An interesting peoples restaurant as against a tourist restaurant. Well worth having a meal there. The food was generous and of good variety. A good Vietnamese experience.
As others have mentioned, the girls who work here will show you how to prepare your food and on occasions feed you as well!
The quality and quantity is excellent. We paid 90,000 each and feel that it is excellent value for money.
Bale Well is not for someone who wants air conditioned areas and restaurant style service. A great...

Bale Well was recommended by a Hoi An resident we met on the road from Hue. The meal here features EVERYTHING to love about Hoi An food; spring rolls, rice pancakes, BBQ pork, grilled pork meatballs, tons of lettuce & herbs, satay sauce and chili. No need to order, it just comes. Use 2 rice paper wrappers and get dirty!...

Eating at this restaurant was by far my favourite dining experience in Vietnam. There is no menu, they just bring the food to you until you are full. If you want to experience great authentic Vietnamese food definitely visit this place!
Without ordering anything but drinks, the table got filled with food at high speed. One menu and real good. Spring rolls to be made at the table by yourself. Don't be afraid to stumble. The ladies working here know a western face when they see one and take charge without hesitation. With a firm and mastered hand they construct your...

We had a fantastic dinner here last night. They don't have menu but just bring you the ingredients to make yummy rice-paper-based springrolls. The waitresses are very friendly and show you how to make them. The ingredients are very fresh and the restaurant was full of locals. With 2 drinks and a dessert we only paid about 10 USD. Fantastic...

Sit down at this low-key but buzzy Vietnamese restaurant and be blown away. There's no menu, so just relax while the friendly staff bring you enormous plates of freshly grilled pork, salad leaves and herbs, spring rolls, rice paper and dipping sauces. They show you exactly what to do to create your own freestyled rolls which are among the best...

like many of the other reviewers have mentioned, it is reasonably hard to find but still only a few minutes from the main tourist strip. Mum and all the relatives working there make the food and then show you how to roll everything up to eat it and even hand feed you. They have a cheap red wine there which...
