We came on this resteraunt by chance and took a fancy to something different for a change from the excellent food available in Vietnam. It was such a surprise to find the food was authentic Indian rather than a Vietnamese interpretation! We enjoyed an excellent meal.

Given the TA reviews I expected more. Lamb Tilkka was quite tough & Chewey, but flavour ok. Two mains were also ok but not a hint of spice even though we requested "spicey". only Indian food in Hoi An so very busy.

We went to Ganesh based upon the recommendation of a friend who'd visited Hoi An a year earlier, and this place did not disappoint. The service was not half bad, and the restaurant was located very close to our hotel outside of the Old City. We got our standard vegetarian dishes: a paneer dish and a bean dish, with naan... More

Lovely food. Authentic. Best roti's and nans ever. Thin and crispy on the outside - soft on the inside. Perfect. Best Indian so far in SE Asia - better than Mumtaz in Danang (which was good but oily) and Namaste in Hanoi (which again was just okay overall although they make the best tasting Mendu Vada outside of India). Lovely... More

We stumbled onto this gem in the lonely planet. After almost 3 weeks straight of Vietnamese food we thought a change was in order and 'Ganesh' did not disappoint. I have eaten in numerous Indian restaurants around the world and in my opinion this is the best Indian I have ever eaten. I would highly recommend this place. Do yourself... More

Being Indians, we're usually disappointed with "Indian" food abroad. But this was better than some places back in India. The service was quick and the menu had a lot of vegetarian options. They even had Hindi music playing! They give you a cold towel to freshen up which is great after a lot of loafing in the sun in Hoi... More

I have eaten at tons of Indian restaurants and this is THE BEST! When you walk up and see the place packed out you'll know why. Ate at locations in Phu Quoc and Hoi An.. the consistentcy is flawless perfection. A MUST eat my friends!

Brilliant indian food, I would eat here everyday if I could. Not to expensive but you can't eat there EVERYDAY if you are a backpacker with low budget. However, we still did...

Set on a main road in the city centre, this is a good place to sit and watch the locals try to kill each other on motorbikes. I ordered a set meal, meat Thal, containing all the exotic bread and sauces you'd expect. The staff were pleasant and the Indian owner very sociable. Nice family atmosphere and good value for about... More
