we went here on a recommendation from our tour guide, did not realize that it was not one restaurant but several stalls. There were not many tourists here, and we did come early which was a good idea, we got our food fast. we were able to choose the seafood that we wanted. The portions were really large and very... Top Spot is an institution in Kuching and still one of the best sea food restaurants. There are a number of stalls selling much the same variety of sea food and vegetables, cooked according to your preferences. Midin - a jungle fern unique to Sarawak - is always a good choice, Very busy most nights - easy to find on... More

I like the concept of the open space of this place. Its a bit crowded especially weekends, but will surely find a place to sit and enjoy as the place is very spacious. Lots of choices especially seafood delicacies. Also you can enjoy "must try" local Sarawakian food here (umbai, pansoh ayam, midin). A "must visit" eating place for all... More

It's a great experience and there is so many choices, but it's mostly seafood so be aware of that, its not so easy to find at the top of a car park building but follow the crowds, its very busy and noisy but a most excellent feed and everything is so fresh, seafood and vegetables, crabs snapping and a huge... Very wide varieties of seafood and they are really fresh! come early to get your seats or reserve your table. Gets really crowded here every night and most of the time its full house. Quite pricey but its good.

Top Spot Food Court is a happening place and the atmosphere is nice ... open-air, quite cool after a short shower and stalls with fresh seafood displayed for all to pick and choose. We had dinner at Stall No. 25 Bukit Mata Seafood on our first night in Kuching - bamboo clams, buttered prawns and midin. Food was just so-so... More

Don't be a tourist, be a traveller instead. I been here and the price is, in my words 'tourist price'. Be very careful when ordering and always ask for the price. The pricing varies from stall to stall and depending on the items that you ordered. All the stalls are pork-free and is liked by our visiting neighbours.

Unless you know what you want to order, go over by the crowded food outlets with the neon - they have menus and made it much easier. Food was excellent although like many, we got charged about 30% more than we should have. Agree your price and dont count on the menu prices.
