After months travelling in Central America it is so nice to find somewhere that makes good bread. Lots of variety to choose from and always fresh. The muffins are delicious and they do great lunches. Friendly staff and good central location.

Richard and his team at Sugar and Spice have amazing baked goods, warm and friendly atmosphere, and are located along the main road in and out of Boquete so its within walking distance to just about everything. I love owner run places...and this one is a must see.

We ate here for lunch twice. We don't eat a lot of bread at home but this bread is worth the splurge. The bread is out standing and the pie is pretty wonderful also.

The coffe was good and the muffins ok. I enjoyed their sandwiches the best. Ex pats always met early in the morning and were very friendly. did not have wi fi access which upset my friend. The waitress brushed the crumbs andd sugar off the table to the floor.

I loved this spot. It's always busy and you can get anything you desire... from a burrito to a gorgeous waffle, or just one cookie, or eggs.Want fresh fruit only? You will find it here, cheap and in a happy environment. I know they don't open for dnner though because my hostal was around the corner. Try it.

Good cookies with sugar & spice and everything nice. And they also make great sandwiches. This is a top rate bakery and the expats here line up every day. In order to get our favorite things we make sure to arrive earlier in the day.

Had lunch there yesterday and the sandwiches were loaded with meat, the soups tasty and the bread crunchy. Had guests coming for dinner so picked up some baguettes and they were a hit. Carrot cake was rich and my husbands favorite. Thanks, Richard and crew for a consistent meal with great service in Boquete.

Very popular with the the locals and for a reason. You can buy freshly baked goods available nowhere else and the food is good.

By CA standards this place rocks, after 25 yrs living in CA, I know well the difficulty in locating a crunchy baguette, a good roll, some nice soup, a good salad, blueberry muffins, etc and this place is like an ice cream shop in the dessert! However by US and European standards this place is not all that special. Atmosphere... More
