this place was recommended by some locals we met but I would say it probably has seem better days and the place was half empty when we tried it. average experience

Irish themed pub in Mactan Island, largely frequented by ex-pats. Crowd inside are friendly too, and it's easy enough to hop into a multi cab if your hotel is further down the main strip of Mactan. There's quite a lot of different events on through the week - checkout their website.

Passed to often without realizing it's one the best places places in and around Cebu when it comes to good food accompanied by excellent food and beer. Food was good, nice atmosphere to be with fiends. Can get over noisy when they have a live band but this is typical of The Philippines anyway.

We came here April of last year during the commemorative celebration of the "Kadaugan sa Mactan" and we were amazed of the beautiful site and the way celebration was done. We were impressed.

As I use the free wireless I thought I'd add their review. I found it hard to find places to eat on Mactan Island. Magellan's has a cozy atmosphere and live music. Easy to catch a jeepney to the plaza across from Magellan's. The beer is cold.

Nice place located close to the airport and marina mall. Great live music every night and cold beer. The food is good... Try the seafood pasta which is exceptional! Nice upscale pub with friendly staff.... Not the cheapest place or the best value in town but a favorite.

Great moderately priced food and attentive friendly service personnel makes this centrally located pub high on my list on Mactan Island.
