Made a reservation to get in, but at arrival some tables were empty. Service is fantastic. Waiters are doing their best. Food is very good. I tried 3 different dishes : main and 2 first. All great. Prices: not as expensive as expected. Valet parking is free The restaurant itself is divided in two sections: pharmacy and library. I speak... More

A fantastic place to try real russian cuisine. The food presentation, quality and taste were amazing. The service was also very friendly. Would eat there again!

Excellent service, excellent food, but slightly bit overpriced. We had two different caviar with omelets (which was excellent) and then the stroganoff and assorted russian meat specials. All was really great.

But make sure you go upstairs where the atmosphere us even more 19th century. It is expensive but the service was fantastic and the Rusduan degustation is enough for two meals

We had a wonderful meal of actual Russian food at this authentic and classic Moscow destination. We sat in the gorgeous second floor library with its 16 foot ceilings. We decided to order a number of appetizers to share, such as meat pies, herring, dill pickles and chopped liver. The mains were excellent, especially the duck breast done rare. Many... More

A slice of history with great food and great service! Atmospheric restaurant which doesn't let it's touristy reputation let the quality of food slip.

We ate here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We ate in the Apothecary on the ground floor in the conservatory area, lit with sunshine on a summer evening. The atmosphere is wonderful and romantic with old wood panelling, vintage lighting and staff dressed in a traditional style. The food was excellent, the salmon pelminis (small ravioli) were light and stuff... More

My friends and I were on a tour of Russia and went here for our farewell dinner to Russia. The wait staff was excellent. Our waiter knew we did not have a clue and did everything he could to make us at ease. Each food item was presented with an outstanding appearance and it tasted as wonderful as it looked.... More

Given how well known this place is we struggled to find it as Café Pushkin isn't written over the door, the exterior is unassuming and discrete. It is something of an institution in Moscow and we were looking forward to our visit. Things didn't start well with the hostess claiming that she did not have our reservation for the haute... More
