We manged to get a seat in one of the carriages and enjoyed three courses from the set menu which at roughly £10 found really good value and great tasting food. Would return if was in the area.

This restaurant is among the best in Guangzhou. With a French management the menu is professionally designed to include various choices. We were a group of four and everyone enjoyed the appetizers, meal and desserts to the Max. If the weather is good you can also enjoyed the tranquil outdoor seating which is rare in Guangzhou.
A friend of mine booked this place for us. She booked the restaurant through a group-coupon website called Meituang(美團網)。If any of you work in China long term, and are able to read a bit of Mandarin or, can find someone who can read Mandarin for you, you should give it a try. You will get a discount of about 1/3...

I was taken here for a corporate dinner last night. Service was excellent and attentive without being overbearing. Their bread is EXCELLENT. We shared starters, and had mains. I had the Salade Lyonnaise and a good old Steak-Frites. We had no room for dessert, sadly. The French red wine was good. Overall it was a beautiful meal in a colonnial...

In the beautiful surroundings of the old colonial district of Guangzhou, is a restaurant owned by a lovely Chinese woman and a little arrogant Frenchman but the wines are great at very reasonable prices. after a marvellous first time at the orient express, we visited again, on our second trip to Guangzhou. definately worth it !! The food is fabulous, fresh, and imaginative. certainly by local standards, the price is higher, and the service, it would seem depends on the staff who are on duty that occasion. but our visits have been very positive....

I tend to get tired of chinese food very quickly, whenever I visit China (I go there 2-3 times a year). I was a bit skeptic, but since I stayed nearby, I gave it a try.
Ordered the steak with fries and pepper sauce, with a glass of Medoc wine.
Service is a joke (no clue about neither food, nor...
