Love places that help local causes and put back into the community. Our experience was all positive with 2 dinners and a breakfast. Good place to talk with expats to gain local knowledge and tips.

In reviewing a restaurant, one needs to take into account the whole experience. Not just the quality of food, the environment, or value for the money, but the core vision of the enterprise. In the case of Salvador's, they have the whole package. Food was good; service was pleasant and helpful; and a fairly good value - especially for where...

Salvador's food is some of the most authentic Western food I've eaten in China. Their staff is pleasant and well-trained. The management trains their staff in English and works with their staff's home villages to produce organic produce that they then buy back and make into delicious food. They have bottomless drip coffee until 2pm, and their spicy goat cheese...

There are a lot of ingredients that go into making a good restaurant. And they extend beyond just the food. The food here is good. For something different, try the Green Tea Float. But beyond the food are the people that run the place. These folks have good hearts. They care about their workers. They care about the environment. And...

This restaurant has a huge menu filled with very good food. Our family of 6 ate here, and we were all happy with the food.
I saw this place recommended on here and discovered it was a 15 mins walk around the lake from my hotel, so I have been there twice now. Very nice, informal coffee place with an amazing menu and lovely servers. There was a wee error with my main today, but it wasn't fatal and I'm sure if I'd said something...

I have lived in rural Yunnan for the past year and a half, and whenever I pass through Kunming, Salvador's is on the top of my list. Whatever Western food you might be craving, Salvador's is most likely to have it (except for maybe pizza). I always get burritos and sometimes splurge on the raspberry mocha or chocolate cookies &...

I was recommended this place by more than a few people so I went. I absolutely love the concept these guys have set up, organic friendly western restaurant, they even have a service whereby you pick up fresh organic vege on a Wednesday, v. Nice. The menu is mostly vegetarian dishes which I had no trouble with, however that being...

An extensive, well-delivered menu, served by efficient, well-trained staff. The best Irish coffee I've had outside of Europe.
Popped in on the recommendation of the Lonely Planet and, for once, it didn't disappoint. Lovely ambience, friendly staff, nice pu'er tea. I wouldn't choose the veggie burger again though: a bit dry and singed on the outside. Pleasant tree lined street.
