Quite unassuming conveyor belt restaurant. Very busy yet staff were very accomodating. I'm sure there are higher class establishments in Kyoto but at 137 Yen for a plate you can't argue.

OK this place is not 5 stars but it fills the gap if you want to experience Sushi Train. We ate here twice and the 2nd time was the better even though they forgot 1 of our ordered items. Sushi Trains (Kaiten Zushi) are getting hard to find now .. well not as obvious and everywhere as they used to... More

Hard to miss on a busy crossroads, this is a friendly place where locals and foreigners mix to have good and varied sushi. Very decently priced, you can also order what you do not see rolling past you.

I went because of the many positive reviews and also because I thought I'd try a kaiten sushi restaurant in Japan. This restaurant was extremely disappointing. The sushi's cheap but the quality isn't so great. For some reason I thought all sushi in Japan was good and fresh. I actually had fresher sushi at a sushi bar at Narita Airport.... More

I fail to understand how this average place is ranked so high. I eat better in even cheaper conveyor belt restaurants. The fish is not fresh, and the nigiri falls apart. It is crowded and full of tourists. Skip. The location is very good, but that's it. Nothing to write home about.

Central location, good and inexpensive sushi. 137 yen per plate for standard items. We tried sushi I had never seen, let alone eaten, before. We were visiting our son, who lives in Kyoto and he took us there. We ate upstairs at a table, the chef not 3 feet away turning out sushi like a tornado. Amazing. Fun place. You'll... More

The sushi here was very good, cheap ($1.30 for two pieces), and fun. The chefs are happy to take any request, but the belt is filled with so many interesting options you may not need to make any special orders off the menu. Definitely worth the visit!

Not the best sushi, but a great experience and great value... Be careful though - the beer is expensive and adds up to as much as the sushi! Good variety, great experience. Dishes were easy to identify, and the price can't be beat! Well worth a visit.. Prepare to wait though - the counter is not very large!

I just want to give a bit details for the first comer in Kyoto station on how to reach this sushi place. Take the south walk direction on the first floor until the end, find the Asty road area. Take the left escalator down, find McD and this restaurant just accros. Sushi very delicious, the belt almost always full bec... More

Located conveniently behind the kyoto station right across McDonalds. This is great place to get good cheap sushi. Do not expect top quality, but for the price its hard to beat. It would be good to learn the different japanese names of the sushi so you can order it strait from the chefs if you don't fancy anything from the... More
