Portions were really big, didn't need 2 starters and 2 mains for 2 people. Was authentically spicy not westernised. Really enjoyed the food and wine was not too overpriced for KL

Food is great very clean fab service the best malsian food i recommnd100%
Dined out with family. Beautiful setting. OKish cocktails. Friendly knowledgable service. Appetisers came out soon. Food is very bland, perhaps as they're catering to western clientele primarily; but despicing Malay food is like gelding a stud. Seafood though assured to be fresh, as queried specifically during ordering was anything but. Order included a mixed appetiser, grilled short ribs of beef,...

We had a great evening in this restaurant. The food was excellent - a real taste of Malaysia. The service was very good - to the extent of enquiring if I knew what durian was when I ordered the chocolate durian cake - a wise precaution! I did know what it was and it was delicious. We sat in the...

We went to this restaurant because it was highly rated in TripAdvisor but to our disappointment the food was not as good as expected. The decor and the service was very good, however the main course dishes fell short on flavour. Maybe our expectation was a bit too high but from the recommendations, we had expected more.
Excellent upmarket Malaysian food. Although unfamiliar with Malaysian cuisine, everything appeared to be beautifully cooked and well presented. Wonderful flavours (even the durian cheesecake) and pleasant ambience. Good for a special occasion.

I really like this place because while close to chankuat it's quiet. Food is great Malay food and the wine list is ok too. The service is impeccable and atmosphere is romantic but great for families and friends too. All round a great little place to eat (up market) in kl
Thank you for dining at Bijan and for your nice review. We are happy you enjoyed your meal with us. We always try to make sure our food and service standards are kept at a high level. A large restaurant which we shared with about 6 other people and a thunder and lightning show did not give us a fair appreciation of its full potential.
The fresh young coconut drinks were a damn good start. Love or hate them!
The food is the star of the show. Whether you choose meat or fish, the flavours are very...

For our first visit to Kuala Lampur, I made a list of recommended restaurants to try during our short stay. We made it to three of them, all of which were excellent, but Bijan was the best.
Bijan had wonderful Malay food. We had different fish dishes with tamarind or the wild ferns in ginger and caramelized coconut. I never...
