Campo Verde has been in Arlington it seems like forever. They have both Tex-Mex and American food though all we've ever had is the Tex-Mex. It's nothing to write home about but most of it isn't bad. People do seem to love the model trains that circle around the ceiling and all of the Christmas lights (year-around). As with most... More

I worked at this place as a teenager seeing the food behind the scenes was disgusting. The free queso comes out of a gelatinous bag and is mixed with water. Their cooks were dirty and love harassing the hostesses. Worst of all my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and the manager said he 'didnt believe me' when I asked... More

We eat here every trip to Arlington. Why?? Because the kids love it. Over all the food is average. If you sit next to the bar you will smell smoke. The chips are good and everyone seems to love the cheesy dip that comes with it. The big attraction here is the year round over indulgence of christmas lights and... More

My wife and I frequently visit Arlington, TX (her hometown). We make a point to stop in at Campo Verde for consistently decent Tex-Mex served off of an extensive menu in an unbeatably whimsical environment. I guarantee you have never seen anything quite like the Christmas decor at Campo Verde the walls are draped in tensil and glowing figurines. If... More

We used to eat here at least twice a week when lived in Arlington. Still manage to get there about once a month though we live 50 miles away. Yes it's worth it. Ask for Greg to wait on you if your there in the evening. If he is on that night you will be pleased with his service. In... More

Campo Verde used to be one of our favorite Tex-Mex places in D/FW but the last two times have been terrible and we will not be back. Service was terrible with a very young girl serving us (maybe 19) and telling us that she 'would never touch alcohol'...just after we ordered a beer and margarita. Then she got our order... More

No thanks. Sad when everyone raves about the atmosphere. Give me excellent food and a decent atmosphere any day. This place reminds me of Joe T's. You either love it or hate it. And yes, we have been here many times as my wife and kids love it. Yep, the atmosphere...

Took my daughter there for lunch. Got two lunch specials for $5.50 each. My daughter hates beans and onions. Asked if they would double the rice. Nope, no substitutions. Asked if they would NIX the beans then. Nope, no substitutions. Asked if they would hold the onion. Nope, no substitutions. Strict restaurant policy on lunch specials. I told them to... More

I love the atmosphere here! It's dark but has a ton of Christmas lights everywhere and a train going over your head! The seasoned chips are awesome with their unlimited queso! It is my favorite Mexican food in Arlington! They have many Choices to choose from as well!
