I was very much looking forward to the re-opening of this restaurant as our last experience was horrible. While I think they did a great job with the decor, the food is still really overpriced and fair, at best. Steaks range from $45-95, most of which are in the middle of that range, and they still charge $2 for a...

Atmosphere, food, service, valet 100% first class. Our fourth visit in 12 years never disappointed. Great wine service as well. Always look forward to a great meal when in Austin.
I only went there for drinks. I am vegan and it being known for steaks was not compatible. I did have the crudite platter which was excellent and came from seasonal vegetables that they grow in their garden behind the restaurant. I had two fabulous Manhattans which were beyond compare. I am sure there steaks are wonderful. It is a...

Undoubtedly, trying to be something it is not. Hostess/waitress in bar area lacked any type of social graces, very rude. Patrons seated near us also complained about her. At these prices, I wasn't in the mood to listen to ZZ Top which was playing as i sipped my martini. Music did not match atmosphere, at all. I understand minimalist concept,...

The decor and "experience" was wonderful!! Miss the "old" Jeffery's crispy oysters on a potato chip and the quail appetizers, but over all the food was very good............but VERY EXPENSIVE.......even during the "one hour only" Happy Hour!!! Love the new look, but sure do miss the previous Jeffery's menu and prices!!! Hope the expensive menu doesn't hurt the business in...

I went to the re-opening of Jeffrey's last night. I was blown away. This is by far the BEST fine dining restaurant in Austin. Go now before you can't get a reservation. They got everything right!!! A magical place. Food, service, decor, everything was FANTASTIC!!! I felt like I was in a movie....the place has charm and the attention to...

This restaurant is an Austin Classic. Food is exquisite. Ambiance romantic. Great kudos to the chef. Fantastic food.
Way over priced for a soggy, sloppy hamburger and french fries. The steak was cooked to order if you like tasteless meat. Best thing on the menu was dessert $8 for 1/4 cup of sorbet
We had the best dinner...we eat here several times a year but the desserts are the best. You can go here and ONLY eat dessert because they know some folks come for the best dish.
