Went down here to meet some friends to listen to music upstairs. While waiting I ordered some bbq. Downtown Austin has some great BBQ, (IronWorks, Stubbs) but this was not it. Overpriced and not great, go somewhere else to eat, but the bar is fun the it's a decent music venue.

Liked: the outside courtyard. Disliked: we arrived at 5:30 and the restaurant was virtually empty, yet service was inattentive. We ordered "signature" dishes and felt they were average quality. Certainly good quality food, but nothing wowed us. We ate at 5 other dinner establishments during our week trip and this was our least favorite.

Great location in downtown Austin. Awesome lambchops. This was a business dinner and the noise level was somewhat loud. This is a very active and energetic place. Diners were eclectic.

Went here for a bachelorette dinner and it was phenomenal. They had a prix fixe menu for us so we got to sample a number of specialities. Highlights were the sangria, the queso, the pulled pork, the jalapeno broccoli and finally, the fried strawberry pie. It was simply delish.

Had dinner here. Spicy deviled eggs were killer. Above average BBQ, in a comfortable environment. Excellent wait staff. Try to sit outside or away from the bar.

In walking distance to the W, Lamberts Cocktails and BBQ are out of this world. Love the atmosphere too. A must dine!

Really interesting old building, nice selection of draught beers, and very delicious barbeque. Worth the trip! Don't miss this place.

Probably the best thing about this restaurant is that you can make reservations on Opentable; a big deal when it's SXSW and there're tons of ppl around looking for good BBQ In terms of BBQ, i've had better at hole-in-the-walls in Memphis but overall, a great place to check out - Broiled Oysters: yummy! - Fried boar ribs: my fave...
