It's a confused hybrid of a big city club and a fine dining establishment. I imagine going there when it isn't night hours might ease the confusion. The food's really good and fancy. Pizza's good if I remember correctly

The special for the night; fresh spinach egg noodles, prosciutto, fresh peas, light cream sauce, fresh parmesan shavings. OMG! Also, a very nice selection of single malt Scotch.

I met three friends at The Liberty Tavern on a Wednesday night for dinner. We made reservations for 6:15, and we have been told in the past that we would be seated once the entire party had arrived and if fifteen minutes had passed, our table might be given up. This must be for weekend nights because I was seated... More

As a celebration for our granddaughter's First Communion, my daughter made reservations at Liberty Tavern for 8 of us (6 adults, 2 children). This was my third visit to Liberty Tavern, and it was fantastic in every respect. Our server was incredible and made us feel quite welcome, was knowledgeable about the entrees and wines, and made recommendations that were... More

What's with the many high volume restaurants these days? The food and service at Liberty Tavern were both good -- nothing to complain about. It has a buzzy atmosphere, but the decor could be upgraded and the noise level should definitely be dialed down. I went with friends to catch up with them, but it was hard to hold a... More

Read good reviews about inventive cooking so we tried it for dinner on a Sunday night. The street level area is a bar with incredibly loud music -no place to have a chat or meet anyone unless lip reading is a skill you possess. The dining room upstairs also suffers from the din of downstairs unless you ask to be... More

Went to the Liberty Tavern for dinner right after the Masters ended. Service was quick for the most part; they did forget an after dinner drink; which when reminded, they compt. Meals were very nicely prepared arrived at the correct temp and the mix of flavors complemented each other. Upstairs dining room was a tad noisy, but it was full.... More

Opted to try the brunch here. Did not have reservation on this Sunday morning (next time a definite) but they were able to seat us at the bar. In a pinch, this was comfortable enough. Brunch options include a buffet at $30, which looked pretty good, but because of dinner plans opted for the ala carte menu. I chose a... More

I went to Liberty Tavern for a nice Sunday Brunch with my family (six adults, one child). Our group chose a mix of the large buffet and individual menu items. Everyone enjoyed the food and the staff was accommodating with our 2-year old. I had the Brunch Pizza and it was delicious! A unique concept that was well executed. The... More

I really loved my meal at LT. The burger and fries really hit the spot. The burger had bacon and cheese and came with fries. For an extra $2 you can do the lunch deal and add any pint on draft. I had my local favorite from Port City and it definitely complemented by huge burger. I didn't give it... More
