Stopped in here to have lunch and buy seafood on our way to the Quinault. We had the sturgeon and chips lunch special and it was excellent. We bought some steamer clams and a dungeness crab, which we cooked for dinner. Both were very good and fresh. It is well worth your time to stop in here and have lunch.

Breakwater's is a gem in the rough! The fish and chips are very good and during the warmer months of the year, it is a treat to eat on the deck on the river!

You think the coast, you think seafood. This place has just that. Great selection, everything is fresh, and the clam chowder is awesome!! Spent a week in Aberdeen and went here twice. Pretty small restaraunt, really -- and next to a run-down part of town, but still an enjoyable atmosphere. Can't go wrong with your choice of food here.

This is one of the best places to get great fish and chips! We go here frequently. Also has a deck when the sun is shining....right on the river.

Cute eatery right on the river. Look out the window or go out on the deck and eat. Watch the tide come in! The sea food is their specialty, and the prices are reasonable.

Have been here a few times for lunch while traveling from Ocean Shores to Seattle and it has become one of my favorite lunch stops. I usually get cod & chips and am never dissapointed! The food is fresh and the atmosphere is very laid back pretty cool. It is right on the banks of the Wishkah River, so it's... More

This is a pretty limited menu - but it is still the best place for a fried fish - or oysters or whatever is today's fresh catch. They're only open until 7 - and if you are looking for something other than well made, fried fish - you should think of something else - although the steamers are one of... More

the food here is in a nut shell - bland. Although the calamari strips and fish and chips are very good. On a nice day sitting outside on the deck overlooking the Wishkah river is nice

I went in the Breakwater hoping for some great grilled, or blackened fish; but what I got was a lot of fried fish. If you like fried fish, then this is a place you'll really enjoy; but if you are like me, and don't like nearly everything fried, then wait until you get closer to Seattle.

I don't think you could ever go wrong with fish and chips anywhere, and this place does a pretty good job. Their clam chowder is not bad. Calamari strips are also quite good. Their fresh seafood store, which is a part of their restaurant is great. They have the best manila/steamer clams. Many times over the years I have bought... More
