Very good food and great place for girls to go out to lunch! A bit pricey though for what you get. Nice atmosphere, many choices on the menu.
Being from out-of-town, we relied on Trip Advisor to help us choose a special restaurant for a rehearsal dinner, and we were not disappointed. Olexa's is such a great little restaurant, full of charm, ambiance and most importantly, delicious food. Diane, Ellen and all of the restaurant staff were superb and made sure that our evening was enjoyable for everyone.... More
Olexa's in Mountain Brook Village s a great place to have lunch. It is mainly for women even though the food would satisfy both men and women. It s just that 95% of the customers are going to be women. My favorite is the black and blue salad. Their cake melts in your mouth. Enjoy!
Olexa's is an excellent place for a lunch outing with the girls. I've tried a couple of their panini's which were both excellent (the smoked turkey panini is my favorite) . While they are known for their cakes, I decided to try the bread pudding instead which was absolute perfection.
We enjoyed it. We heard about this place because of the desserts. Cute set up they have. Bring a jacket. They have turbo fans going! Im a dessert person but i enjoyed their sandwiches more than the dessert! :)
You can't beat Olexa's when looking to lunch with the girls in Birmingham. It's ideal for special occasions -- who needs an occasion? Having lunch at Olexa's IS an occasion. Went for a late lunch and true to other reviews this is a place were well heeled ladies and gentlemen lunch. I had the bruschetta trio which included one each of olive tapenade, pesto and artichoke. The olive and pesto were yummy. I am not a huge fan of white chicken chili, but this was so good - large chunks... More
Stopped by and double parked outside, ran inside to place a to-go order and they could not have been friendlier. The food was ready on time and delicious. I will be back each and every time I am in Birmingham.
I ate at this property for lunch today, as a scouting trip for my church group. This is a small (seating capacity less than 100), French-themed restaurant aimed at women (I was one of five males on the premises) in the most affluent suburb of Birmingham (Mountain Brook). I had the signature dessert of Warm White Chocalotate Chunk Bread Budding... More
Service was very good, got there at 11. By 11:15 it was filling up fast. It got a little loud by the time we left, but it is to be expected with the big room everyone sits in. We decided to try the new Raspberry tea and it was divine! I picked the spinach & tomato veggie panini with goat... More
