They blend of Korean and Japanese and score high points on both. The best sushi in Birmingham and the Galbi is addictive! The only Korean BBQ in the state that I know of. The owners are Korean and take pride in everything the serve.

This place always has delicious sushi. I've never had a roll that I didn't like, and I've tried just about everything on the menu. And the head sushi chef is very friendly and is very helpful to you if you want to try something new. I love this place. I never go anywhere else for sushi!
Still our favorite after many years. Sushi best in town, no competition. Noted comments in other reviews about service. Wait staff is much improved.
I confess, I am a sushi-holic. It's delicious and heart friendly. Ginza is my restaurant of choice. Don, the lead sushi chef, prepares a gorgeous plate of delicious food. Each time we have visited (since they opened), it has been wonderful. Our first choice is sushi, but it is all fantastic.
Delicious fresh, traditional Korean food with a great sushi bar. Very cool decor, great service in a very good location. One of the best gems in Birmingham, give it a try!
I was disappointed by this place during my visit. The sushi was decent, but I really came for the Korean BBQ. I ordered shrimp and bul kogi. The shrimp was very over-cooked and unpleasant, the bul kogi was very under-spiced and tasted and looked like any generic fajita platter.
The service was alright, but not great. We would have liked...

Pros: loved the atmosphere and the food was great. Prices were so-so but I'm willing to pay it cause you can't get Korean food often here.
Cons: We had a drink accidentally spilled on us (no offer to compensate for inconvenience by taking off the drink or giving us any freebies) and we sat around for a good 10 min...

Went here for a birthday dinner with the beau since he was craving sushi. The menu was diverse and well priced. We ordered a single roll at a time and were not disappointed.... each one was delicious and the waitress didn't mind our prolonged dinner. We really enjoyed the Korean fusion roll and the black dragon roll (which is whimsically...

I was very dissappointed with Ginza. I had 2 people tell us how wonderful it was. we ordered several dishes and sushi. The chicken was overcooked on very entree. The rice tasted like it came out of a microwave bag. We ordered to go and it took 45 minutes. We got back to the hotel anticipating wonderful food and we...
