We had a good time, here. The live music is good (a nice alternative to the boom-boom around) and the ambiance is really good. But the prices are very high, you can only have wine by bottle, which is expensive, and the kitchen is way more limited than what they offer in the menu...

We went in and were seated, we were given a drink menu and we requested a food menu as well. The waiter returned and took our order. About 10 minutes later the waiter returns and tells us no food. We were a little surprised since it was about 7 pm on a Saturday night. We asked why and he responded,... More

Atmosphere is quite nice but I ordered a freshly squeezed juice for 30 rmb and got a glass of some bottled Orange drink you can buy at the supermarket for 10 rmb a litre. The live band was too loud for a cafe.

French Pastry chef has been there for ages and if you are missing the 'continental' breakfast, go and buy your pastries there, the 'chausson au pommes' is quite good and will do a good breakfast with a coffee from across the street at Mamma Mia. Unfortunately it seems Le Petit Paris is not open for bkfast.

Stayed 4 days in Lijiang, i think this place is quite good for western food. We had Yak steak which it was better than what we thought :0) Its a bit expensive compare to most of the restaurants (i steak 70-80RMB, small beer 35RMB) But if you fed up with Chinese food then go to Le Petit Paris to have... We went there in a weekday afternoon last week. There were few people then. We ordered some drinks, a soup and a pizza. When a sizzling pizza was delivered to our table, a cockroach came out from under the pizza plate (not sure if it's from the pizza...gosh!) I tried to feedback to the waiter, but he just shrugged his... More

When you have tired of Chinese food or you have children then this is the restaurant to go to. In a small two storey restaurant and owned by a Frenchman who fell in love with Lijiang this restaurant serves basic French cooking as well as pizzas at an affordable price.

I was surprised to read ShumShum's review of Le Petit Paris. We were at the restaurant recently ( Lijiang Old Town location - they have a bigger one in Shuhe too) for dinner on Christmas Eve. Our family of 5 ordered everything from salads to desserts and our main female server was very friendly and helpful. We took ages to... More

We read about Le Petit Paris and was keen to drop by but we only found it after we already had our dinner. It was on the busy bar street near Sakura, very crowded and noisy and later we realised there are 3 of them side by side. We stepped into the first one we saw and it was quiet... More
