Expensive especiacially coffee at 100 baht which is a shame as its is in a great location with nice staff
We had dinner one evening whilst staying at the Layana which is less than a 5min walk away along the beach. It's quite a large rustic restaurant located on the beach with views to the sea. Service was pleasant and efficient, restaurant is very clean, the food was very good (great soup) so overall fantastic value for money - we... More
We ate here numerous times at beginning of November. We kept coming back because there was such a nice family feel to it and the food was great. One of the sisters who owns it would sit down wit us every time and tell us some stories on Thai culture. She speaks great English because she spent time in the... More
We felt that the food did not warrant the cost. For example a main was B160-180 when similar beach restaurants were B80-100. It may be nicer for dinner than lunch, but Pricewise seems to be aimed at tourists stumbling from the Layana a Resort.
We were staying at the other end of the beach at Lanta Sands Resort and strolled down the beach for lunch here one day after seeing the reviews. The food here really was the best we had during our 4 day stay. The cost was slightly more than other places, but the quality of food lived up to it. Lovely... More
We wen't to Lym's for a dinner when there was a party for the November full moon. We had a great three course dinner wich was altered a bit for me cause I'm a vegetarian. Everything was delicious. We send sky lanterns and floating lanterns as well. The staff is super nice.
I stayed in Long Beach Chalet for almost two weeks in the beginning of the season and the restaurant was reopened when we were in the last days of our stay. The location by the ocean is just beautiful, nice atmosphere, really lovely staff and tasty food. I'd love to sit there for hours anytime. Although food is really good... More
The menu is extensive and the food very good. The two chinese ladies that run it are very chatty and full of information, also very keen to keep the area natural and not spoilt. They also have some lovely rooms to let.
We arrived really late at the restaurant while it was raining a lot. We were starving, but kitchen was already closed. No problem for the owners, they opened up again and made us some fried rice and phad thai, we 've been so happy to got some food and everybody there is really friendly. We also recommend going there at... More
