We enjoy eating out at different places in Thailand but ended up at 'same same...' three times during our 3 days in Koh Lanta. Good food, great service and wonderful ambience, right on the beach at Kantiang Bay. Highly recommended.

Great food, friendly owner and staff with good English on a nice beach, what more could you want. Oh yes a cold beer, that too!!! Also cocktails and non alcoholic drinks. Extensive menu Thai and European served.

The stand out 'find' of our 10 days in Ko Lanta. Great food, great service, amazing out door dining in the gardens, great drinks and great prices. Admittedly it is pricey if you opt for fresh fish but that is the same everywhere. The Lab Kai and Som Tum Kai are the best I have had in 20 years of... More

We stumbled across the beach, which is relatively quiet during a drive around the island. We had lunch here; same same food but the pad *something* (not thai) was fab. Their young coconuts were also very cold with silky soft meat, and they let us take it on to the beach. There is a nice shower on the beach too.... More

Yum Yum Yum- food great, and sunsets better! Bag a beach front table for the best views!

Came here for the first time in 1999 and it was an amazing restaurant. Came again in 2007 and it was just as good. Went back yesterday and it was terrible. The prices had doubled, the quality of the food had halved and the service was non-existent. It's still a beautiful place to sit and have a meal but the... More

We ate here on a number of evenings when we stayed at the Pimalai which is only 5 minutes walk away down the beach. There is a good variety of starters and main dishes, and we tried pretty much everything on the menu! Very reasonable priced and popular so I would suggest booking for the following night if you wish... More

The food was good and made almost the real thai way. We had a lot of difficult finding thai restaurants that actually served their dishes done properly. Ie the right use of dried or fresh chilis. The use of kaffir lime leaves etc. Worst of all are all the places that exchange oistersauce, fishsauce and sugar for oil and ketchup (yes... More
