This is a very popular village restaurant and when you try the food you can see why. This is a family run place with freshly prepared Thai . The food and drink is not expensive.
I always go to Bamboo Hut when I'm on Koh Phangan. It's by far the best thaifood I've had outside Bangkok.
I used to think you could sit down anywhere in Thailand and get good food, but since it's become more touristic it seems the food quality has declined. Not at Bamboo Hut though. The green curry is by far...

We wish we found bamboo hut earlier! Peakan the cooking class teacher speaks great English and is very friendly. We had a great time leaning to cook 3 traditional Thai dishes for dinner. Highly recommend spending a night at one of her classes. If you want to attend a class, book the day before or early morning for evening class....

Highly recommend. Basic setting in terms of a traditional thai hut but hey isn't that why we come to Thailand. Adds charm to the place. Amazing food and very cheap, bill was 500 baht for two meals and 4 beers. Very good value! We are actually heading back there this week to do the cooking class which we are looking...

Had my fourth Tom Yum Kung in Thailand so far and this was by far the tastiest. Spicy and had lots of seafood. The Thai green fried rice and curry both very good, even got some vegetables with chillie. Service and set up is so basic and this only adds to the charm of the place. Lovely humble and sincere...

We ate here twice and really enjoyed both their Thai and Laotian offerings - the Laotian was a welcome break from a long string of Thai meals and was so good it made us keen to get to Laos to eat some more of it! The ladies there are Burmese, speak good English and are really friendly but they certainly...

We visited twice during our visit to Noi and both times we had good tasty food, nice environment, lovely ladies. Good value drinks. Recommend a visit.
Staff were friendly and attentive and the food was good and keenly priced. Some interesting Lao dishes as well as Thai favourites. Recommended.
