The restaurant was completely full but they made a plan and seated us inside the room where the piano player sits. It was a bit loud in there of course, and it made conversation difficult, but we were happy to have a table at this popular restaurant. The beef and chicken dishes are recommended, but when the restaurant is full... More

A little difficult to find, but worth the search. Students serving with good language skills and trying very hard to please. Pleasant rooftop location, and walking by the kitchen reassures you of the standards of cleanliness. Food better than most in Uzbekistan (not a very high praise!) and the pianist is pleasant and not too loud. Would recommend it ahead... More

Great view of the old city from upstairs. Very simple place but good service with English spoken. Salads very fresh and tasty. Good range of Uzbek and other dishes. The young owner came to our table and was most attentive. Popular place for groups and I was impressed with the trays of food that passed by my nose! Within easy walking... More

We went there twice during our stay in Bukharaandit wasby far the best food we had in Uzbekistan so far (which is also not very hard). Atmospheon the roof terrace is very nice, service was good every time. As individual tourists make sure to either come earlier, 7pm, or drop in to make a reservation, which is easy as it... More

Ate here three times in as many days, while also trying a few other places in town, but this was the best. The food is truly excellent, especially if you're vegetarian. Try the veggie couscous and the veggie plov. Staff very friendly.

The restaurant is well located and affords good views over Bukhara, the food however is poor. I had lamb which was tough and my son had a bland tasteless stew.

Lovely restaurant and very friendly staff. Very popular with tourists and lovely rooftop views, especially at sunset.

We found the Minzifa after experiencing some really ordinary Uzbeki food and were delighted by the location, service and, let's be honest, having a choice of dishes which weren't meat on a stick. The atmos was lovely - a glass of wine in hand, watching the sunset, listening to live music performed by local music teachers and the opportunity to... More

We passed the restaurant several times when returning to our hotel in the evening and decided for a after dinner coffe. The atmosphere was so plesant that we returned for dinner on the following day. True, Uzbek cuisine has its faults seen through western eyes, but the dinner was much better than expected, and the service impeccable. The price level... More

There are many things to love about Uzbekistan, the food being the least of these. The cuisine of Uzbekistan must be in the world's top ten worst. And Bukhara had the worst restaurants of anywhere that we visited in Uzbekistan. Thus my rating of Very Good is by local standards. Having said that, the location on a roof top in... More
