Located within Taj Mahal Hotel. Very good sushi, applewood-smoked edamame, friendly professional waiters, good selection of sake - all at rather high prices.
If you know what you want and like Japanese food, this is THE place. Excellent food combined with a courteous service makes for a memorable evening. The prawn tempura is a personal favourite- total perfection! Sushi with the freshly grated Wasabi is heavenly.

Five of went to this place this week adn we were really ripped off. A dish of palak was charged Rs 1500. When we complained we were told it was two portions but it was not, But the dishes were good and food was served piping hot. Dhaba should be cheperr than the other restaurants in the hotel.
Wasabi in Taj Mahal Hotel New Delhi is a wonderful Japanese resturant. The food is authentic Japanese and ingrediants are flowen in fresh from Japan. It is a wonderful expereance to eat at this sisiter resturant of the same name in Mumbai's Taj Mahal which is also very good

Service: It's a Taj... So service is going to be fantastic.
Ambience: Ok, nothing great, nothing bad.

Food presentation and service is excellent however, and staff was eager to make recommendations...

Not very interesting atmosphere. Food was fine. Very expensive sake list. No buzz, it felt very old fashioned, and not in a good way.
My wife and i decided to treat ourselves to an anniversary dinner here. To say that we came away with our palates and minds blown is an understatement. The food is just unbelievably good with absolutely fresh ingredients.
