Small, cosy, and friendly. Everything we tried was good but I especially liked all the different thukpa, especially the ones with homemade noodles. If it's full, it's worth waiting a bit for a table.

The momos, the thukpa, the shabbaleys - you name it and they produce it steaming hot and wonderful to taste. The family run business has been one of our favourite destinations in Darjeeling over the years. You will always leave with a smile on your face.

momos seemed half cooked. we ordered chicken chowmein and pork fry ... somehow gulped the chowmein and pork was so smelly that we threw off the entire thing

I visited the place very recently. I had ordered for a plate of momos, fried rice and a chicken manchurian. The food was bland, with loads of garlic and no salt. I would recommend anyone visiting the Kunga, to re-consider their options and instead head to Dekevas, where the food is way better.

I liked non vegetarian food over there and yes fried rice ofcours. Good restaurant to visit.It is near by Mahakal market and good place after shopping...:)

small place, a tad cramped, but offers great value for money and tasty momos. It is right next to the mall and is run by a family, always have a queue of people waiting to be accomodated! Food is good but not delightful and extraordinary, may visit while on way to the mall

Have been to Darjeeling several times and this is a fantastic new discovery! A very small and intimate restaurant with some of the best food! The Vegie Thenthuk is amazing and all food is reasonably priced. Didn't have time to eat our momo's in the restaurant so they were packed into a takeaway container and we ate them in Ghoom... More
