We started by having to walk through the cigar bar to enter the dining room. The appetiser was a less than golf sized ball of spreadable cheese with 4 bread sticks stuck into it. Salad was a wedge of lettuce w/ some dressing, feta crumbles, chopped tomato,it left me "wanting".The sirloin steak was thick and cooked to perfection (medium rare) but... More

Nick's is very nice, but that is it. The food was okay, but nothing to brag about. The atmosphere was LOUD on the cigar bar side. The dining room is what you would expect, but the food could be better.

My husband took me here for Valentine's Day and he thinks I loved the place but I found it to be quite cliche. Yes, it is true they give you a very thick steak but its not to die for. I can marinate a steak with AllRecipes.com steak marinade and it turns out just the same. They say the atmosphere... More

We live about two miles south of Nick's and had heard good things about it, so we decided to give it a go. We were delighted with every aspect of the establishment . There's an old adage in aviation that "If it looks good, it'll fly good." That's a good way to describe Nick's. It looks good and its service... More

This is my new fav. restaurant in HSV!!!! We love the food @ Bridge Street, 801 Franklin, vinotinis is a regular destination, etc. But, Nick's has a wonderful local/neighborhood "feel" to it. Nick and Sherry Mikus are exception owners who act as hosts, whom you are visiting at their home. We enjoyed not only the friendliness of everyone there, the... More

We loved the food but did not return because the small setting was overpowered by the smoking section. I am not sure that it could be avoided as that is just one of the features of the restaurant. I would be happy to return if they ever move to a larger local or arrange outdoor dining to give a little... More

We arrived to heavy cigar smoke which you have to walk through to get to the "Non-Smoking Dining Restaurant." This place is primarily a cigar bar/lounge, and it is beautiful, but the smoke is thick. Parts of the restaurant were "high end" such as white or black napkins, champagne buckets by the tables, and a wine menu. But other things... More

This was our first trip to Huntsville and we let Google suggest a place to eat. Way to go Google!! Dave treated us like family when we came in the door and Francine saw to our every need. The food was excellent, well worth the price. (More than we can say for the over-priced fare from the franchise in the... More

Wow! We heard about this little place for a while before we finally gave it a try. It’s just so rare to have a truly wonderful dining experience that I don’t ever expect it. Nicks is IT! THE ONE! We have been back many times and it never disappoints. Always rates a 10 in every category. Thanks Nick for finding... More

Once you walk thru the door you forget that you are in Alabama strip mall. Atmosphere of NYC or Vegas with a late 50s early 60s flair. Decorated with original paintings and items from their home. Dining area is separate from the cigar bar. Our party of 4 had 3 different meals, one veal piccata with excellent sauce, very creamy;... More
