Liked the scrambled eggs with hash brown we were staying almost next door and came here often for breakfast. Good range of juices and nice tables out the back. Read some of the other reviews can't believe how fussy some people are!

This lovely cafe was recommended to us when we enquired about peranakan food when we checked into the Galileo Guest House. We had travelled by coach from Kuala Lumpur and arrived around 1 pm.and was a wee bit hungry. It did not disappoint. I had nyonya mee siam (long, long time since I tasted this delicious dish) and my wife...

We went here for lunch and was disappointed in fact we didn’t eat. We first went into the area off the street ordered a can of coke and I could see the river and tables through the back so asked to move through there. Anyway that involved a trip through the kitchen and toilet area so glad we saw that...

Excellent food, we had a Sunday Special which consisted of 4 local dishes which were delicious.
2 juices too which were definitely fresh and not from a carton.
Fantastic dining right on the river with the sun beating down, they even brought us another table out because the ones next to the river were all taken.
Friendly staff and good...

I went there because read all the recommendation but I was very disappointed. Had a dish with prawn and raist and didn't eat it!! The prawn waren t good washed!! The stomach didn't removed. The Atmosphere I didn't like! The owners are very nice and helpfully. But the food was not all that! It s a pity
Hello ! We highly recommend this restaurant and place to "be". We went there every day for breakfast (hummm, their juices are wunderful") and dinner. The owners are very, very friendly and we spent a nice time. Liliane and Adi, from Switzerland
Overall the food was pretty bland (the kids liked it haha) but the perenakan special was very good, and authentic. The people are lovely and we had a happy time there. Had to move inside though, as the smell out the back on the waterfront was overwhelmingly stooly.
We ate here on a number of occasions during our stay. The staff were incredibly welcoming and had lots of advice about the town. The food was a mix of Asian and western dishes and we enjoyed every one! Their fresh juices are a must! The restaurant is also open late, unlike a lot of the local places.
Based on the reviews we read, we thought that we found the wrong restaurant but we had not.
To start, the place smelled of sewage (very strong). The smell was inside the place since I walked from the street side to the river and smelled it even in the kitchen.. We sat inside on the street side since only two...

Another amazingly good value meal in Melakka. This one by the river - watching the tourist boats go by. Freshly cooked homemade food is excellent. The river does occasionally give off a slight whiff so those with a sensitive nose be warned. It seems to be a good place for westerners to congregate. The owner is friendly and happy to...
