One of the most creative chef that did not forgot to remain simple welcoming guests to enjoy a wonderful moment. Rare to see such constant food quality in a city where everyting is changing so fast.

Upon arrival at Mr & Mrs Bund without a reservation and were warmly welcomed.
We were seated at a long table with large tall chairs making you feel like you were in the giants a room - rather novel.
The waiter was most helpful and obliging. The food was excellent and the wine and drinks were reasonable.
Definitely worth a...

I've been to this restaurant quite a few times in the past 18 months and have not been disappointed yet. I don't believe the "appearance" of the menu does justice to the complex flavours achieved in the food, not to mention some of the quirky platings. But the menu should not be off putting. The bread is a problem -...

Interesting menu, but I'm afraid the service just doesn't cut it. Went there intending to have desserts after dinner, as reservations were only available at 9:30pm. Which is fine, I understand that highly rated restaurants get busy.
However, the server seemed unable to comprehend that we were not coming in for a full meal. At 9:30pm. Not everyone is a...

Have been there 2 times already and I am still dreaming of the vinaigrette that comes with the asparagus :-) Very popular place, must make reservations, all tables are fun, but personally really like the big one with the very high chairs. Next time will have to fight harder to stay away from the super delicious bread basket to save...

Confusing menu, over priced and pretentious. Not sure why people rave about this place. So many great reastaurants in Shanghai, only thing going for it is the location.
Fusion asian-french. Menu was way too big and quite confusing, we had to ask for it to be explained to us due to the strange layout.
Not many interesting vegetarian options. Unclear how many dishes to order. Prices were high compared to local food of course but standard for Western restaurant on the Bund.
The food was great but the...

A big menu. Love the thick beef carpaccio and oyster. Both are fresh. The goose liver and tuna are equally good. They have a good selection of wine there as well. You won't be disappointed. The waiters and waitresses are nice and well trained. They can give you good suggestion and never push you to select expensive food or wine....

The decor is beautiful in that endlessly repeated classic-Shanghai designery stycl - the restaurant is dressed to impress - and there's a pleasant small outdoor patio for pre-dinner drinks. The food is very good, but its presentation is too clever-clever and distracting. For example the king prawns were steamed in, amongst other things, vanilla, and were excellent - but served...

A bit difficult to book at first, as noone picked upbth phone. Apart from that it all went well. A table with the river view and fine food. Always make sure to leave room for desserts.
