The place is very big and super busy. I was worried that it was too busy to be taken care of. Was I wrong. The service is unbelievable. We had a private room with our own server. They gave one of the guest a eyeglass cloth to clean her glass's and little plastic bags for cell phones. She dropped one... More

Discovered your restaurant by accident while waiting in line for crab. SO GLAD we switched to you. Have not stopped thinking of you since. Leisa, do you have a cookbook? I wish I lived closer, I would ask to work in your kitchen for nothing in the hopes of gaining some of your delicious recipes. Can't wait to come back...and... More

We love the service level from this place. You are kept entertain with activities while waiting for your table. When seated the waitress are very attentive to your request and at times, even before you even ask for soup refill, for instance, they have already done so without much prompting. Our handphones are ziplocked to prevent from any spillage, when... More

Even though we had heard the service was extraordinary they surprised us as everybody in the large restaurant was very welcoming, saluting you and trying to help you as best they could. You can order half size dishes and thereby get to try more different ingredients that you boil in two different hot pots. One hot and one not so... More

This was the closest we could could get other then street dumplings and food. Fun experience. Really great place with several locations. You can choose your food to cook in boiling broths with several spices, sauces which I was instructed to mix all together. Inexpensive. Really fun.

Been to Haidilao several times and have never been disappointed. They do Chinese style hot pot at a great price with really good service. Order the special noodles (forgot what they were called) and a staff will come around and start stretching out and swinging noodles around your table before finally tossing them into your pot. It get's crowded almost... More

Hai Di Lao is a great Sichuan Spicy Hotpot Restaurant. And unlike many other restaurants in Shanghai, you get great service too. They even brought me a plastic case to put over my phone to protect it. The Hot Pot is superb. There are many base soups to choose from. And there is a huge selection of food items and... More
