This restaurant is a bit on the fine-dining spectrum but not to be missed! Treat yourself to a nice dinner and some wine. Great food and drinks with phenomenal service. The marlin ceviche is to die for! I will definitely be going back!

We went to Don Rufino's based on reviews we read online. The food was excellent. Get the Ceviche! The shrimp pasta was incredible but you better love spicy food! Again, Get The Ceviche! Some reviews said it was the most expensive and maybe so but I still think for the atmosphere and quality of food it was very reasonable!

Food and service were terrific. Should I ever return to Arenal, I will be certain to eat here again. I enjoyed the Grandmother's chicken and my wife had the Filet Mingon. Both were prepared well. The marlin ceviche was very tasty as our appetizer.

One of the best meals we had on our trip! My husband had grandmas chicken and I had a pork dish with lentil. Both were amazing! Prices were between 18-20 dollars for most meals but worth it!
