my family arrived here after walking down to punta uva for an hour. We were all very parched and ordered our drinks.Only one of our drinks came and 10 minutes later the drinks that we had ordered had not even started being made so we paid for our drink and left. As we were leaving they were saying how they... More

We stopped in here, during a wonderful day of biking up the coast to Manzanilla, for lunch. It looked inviting with its grass roof covered with flowers and open garden, and it was. However, the service was very slow and they kept forgetting our order. There were four of us and our food came out very staggered ( one member... More

We stopped here for dinner one night on our too short vacation in Punta Uva. There were six of us and our dinners were delicious. Everything was prepared as ordered so it did take a while but it was worth the wait. My fish was excellent, the rice, prepared with coconut milk, worried some of us that don't like coconut,... More

We stayed next door at Kasha, and walked here for lunch. The food was fresh and delicious!! We saw a beautiful tree frog which stopped everything happening for a few minutes while we all took pictures. The owner was delightful with us, it was a wonderful sojourn in our day!!

We stopped at this restaurant because we saw their sign said "Fish Tacos".The tacos were not only incredibly delicious with homemade tortillas but their rice and beans were amazing as well. We planned to eat lunch there the next day so the owner, Pamela, let us park at the restaurant the next am while we went down to the beach.... More

My partner and I have stayed at the Miraflores many times and always enjoy the food and especially the atmosphere of the cafe there. We have across years made the most rewarding friendships sitting in that little cafe. It seems to draw in people who are special and many heart connections and exchange of information seems to consistently take place... More

Miraflores Café has a casual ambiance, the food is good, and the people who work there are lovely. Being a month-long guest at the lodge, I ate in the café frequently and also worked in it. I saw things that short-term guests often don’t see or choose to ignore. Unfortunately, the owner Pamela Carpenter has serious ethical issues regarding money.... More

We stopped here for breakfast in the morning. We sat down and had coffee. After we had waited a half hour for breakfast we looked in the kitchen, nothing happening there. It worked out that the person who was cooking had gone out to get stuff to cook, it would have been better if they just told us they had... More
