This was recommended to us by our taxi from the airport - fantastic recommendation! We had a fairly private table and excellent service. The restaurant is very romantic and set back in a lush garden. The food was fantastic - we had lettuce rolls as an appetizer, mahi mahi, a lobster entre, and chocolate souffle for dessert. Drink menu also... More

I visited Kapi Kapi with a group of other Law students and we all enjoyed our meals. I was still a steak-eater back then and I was pleased that my steak was prepared just as I liked it. A classmate ordered the Mahi Mahi and we all gobbled it up after he said he was too full to finish it.... More

We went to Kapi Kapi based on Chowhound suggestions. Out of four nights in Costa Rica, we went here twice because we enjoyed it so much and didn't have any luck finding anything comparable (we also tried Gaia and our hotel's restaurant, El Mirador at Arenas del Mar). We had and highly recommend the Asian Ribs with Citrus Slaw, Macadamia... More

2 families of 4 members each ate here on our last night of the most perfect vacation ever! This restaurant did not disappoint. We are foodies and this was delicious. Definitely order the chocolate souffle dessert. Beautiful decor. Fabulous service. Make reservations. Wonderful.

The food here was amazing. I was amazed, it was better than anything I'd ever had in Vegas or New York. The service was fantastic, it's the beginning of their down season so we were seated immediately. The food is a bit on the pricey side, but is worth every penny!

This restaurant was delicious. Our large group was well served, everyone enjoyed their meal immensely and the price was reasonable. They went above and beyond by proposing the special dessert, the lava mountain. It took 45 minutes to cook, but since they asked us before dinner, it came at the right time. It was worth every minute. I had the... More

We came here on our recent honeymoon to Costa. My husband's been many times, but it's been years and he hasn't been to Manuel Antonio yet, so the prices were much higher than we were expecting. But, Kapi Kapi was fabulous fusion cuisine. We got an appetizer, 2 entrees, a dessert and bottle of wine and spent about $120 including... More

Everyone that stays in Manuel Antonio must eat here. The food was amazing and the employees were great. I will eat here every time I come back to this area. The view is not what this place is about. The grounds are amazing too but if you want to see the water then this is not your place. We went... More
