Prices are very high for locals. Went twice. Food is okay but nothing outstanding. Would not take a visitor here.

The owner is so wonderful. She runs 2 specials a year for local residents. All you can eat shrimp, scallops etc. It is really fun to eat there.

The food was fantastic as was the location, atmosphere and staff. Can't think of anything I didn't like except I wish it could seat more people (us). A bit pricey, but worth it. We almost always are able to make two meals out of one which cuts the price in half.

To put this in perspective, I live in Alaska, my husband is a commercial fisherman, and I am a seafood snob. I rarely order seafood in restaurants. Had some halibut and soup. All four of us were happy with our meal. This restaurant came recommended by several people. Pricey , can be a long wait too but they take reservations.

We stayed two nights in Homer and ate at Captain Patties both nights. Great sea food and Halibut!! There were a lot of choices for food in Homer but after reviewing the menus at the other restaurants we came back to Captain Patties. We were not disappointed. Prices were somewhat high everywere.
