This is a really nice little restaurant that is part of a bed and breakfast. We were staying somewhere else and came here for dinner. What a find! The food is very well prepared, uses local ingredients as much as possible, and is reasonably priced. We'll be going back for sure.

I had the single layered burger with small order of fries with root beer in a bottle. my friends had double and triple layered burgers. They are small mini burgers prepared by a chef, full of flavor. it is a small place,so, you may have to wait for a place to sit but they have take out too.

Had lunch there today and the fishwich made with rockfish was absolutely wonderful. The menu had so many choices, it was hard to make a single choice. The special soup today was a vegetable polenta and it was outstanding, very different - great texture and taste. The area is small, so it is great for 2 - 4 people, not... More

We didn't get a chance to eat here but we walked around and it looked really cute as many of the cafes are in Homer. We are cafe connoisseurs!

Eclectic and unique menu. Wonderful flavor combinations. Great food! Large portions ... Two can easily share a half salad, a tapas choice, and an entrée. If money is a concern, be sure to ask about prices of specials.

I can't say enough about how wonderful all of my dining experiences at Mermaid have been. The only complaint is about the chairs, which are a bit uncomfortable. It's a very small dining room, so an intimate experience. The staff are very attentive and knowledgeable. The white king salmon is phenomenal - if it's a special, get it! All the... More

We stumbled across The Mermaid by checking some flyers/menus at the Inn we were staying at and we are SO GLAD we did! The meal was amazing - fresh and the flavors were dazzling. It's a cozy dining room with personable service. Their efforts to use organic and local products pays off. Eat here!!!

We ate here with a party of four last month and the food was wonderful. There are only 8 tables so reservations are recommended. We tried most of the items on the menu (not posted online because it changes daily) and thought everything was wonderful. Beyond just having excellent seafood, the dishes were creative and perfectly executed.

Amazing combinations of common foods, like corned beef cheesecake with cabbage and beet cake with pink cream cheese ice cream. Tiny but clean and comfortable with terrific food

We ordered from the specials menu which did not have any prices listed. We mistakenly assumed that the prices would be comparable to those in the menu. We really enjoyed our food. It was very very good. But we were surprised when we got a triple digit bill for the 2 of us. I highly recommend this place but I... More
