A must visit restaurant. The baozi are famous throughout the land and i can confirm they are very good. The pork and the veggie ( 40 yuan for a steamer of 8) were both excellent. At 5 kuai a Baozi they are pricy but very tasty.

Undoubtedly the best dumplings I've had so far but pretty expensive stuff. RMB 100 for a set of 6 dumplings.

Actually, Gou Buli is just famous and long history. Tianjin have many good dumpling restaurant. If some one come to Tianjin, I can take you to other dumpling restaurant, I promise it will not worse than Gou Buli. I am a Tianjin borned.

This is a great restaurant with wonderful food. It's a must place to eat while in Tianjin.

and, Tainjin is famous for them, make sure you check out Goubuli dumplings. Lovely setting, great selection, excellent prices.

Beijing has its "Quan Ju De" Duck, here in Tianjin is the "Gou Bu Li" dumpling. Its taste unique and I kept popping one after another in my mouth. The place is decently decorated but I'd suggest to focus more on the food than its interior layout or service. Do speak or get someone who speak mandarin. :)

Very disappointing. The food is really so so, feels like a school canteen, not very clean, very noisy and the service is very poor. One meal is quite cheap but you don't get what you pay for.

My friend who lives in Tianjin was always bragging about Goubouli. After we went there I understood why. If you like dumplings you will love Goubouli.
