This restaurant was recommended to us and so we were quite excited. The ambiance and service were fine but the food a huge let down. We chose to have the 5 course degustation menu with wine. The first course of the soup was faultless but after that every thing went down hill. The chef is trying to be clever but... More

Gourmet french restaurant in an upmarket suburb. Try the set menu food and wine pairing. The chef/sommelier really gets it right

I am very pleased with my first dining experience here. Well executed plating. Food was cooked to perfection. Service is great.

We visited the restaurant as guests and in a group of 6. I have read the previous reviews rating the restaurant as excellent, but after our dinner last night I am surprised with how different I experienced the restaurant. Everybody had different dishes and all were disappointing in comparison to the elaborate description on the menu. The food was pretty... More

We went to Brasserie de Paris for our wedding anniversary dinner and booked a few weeks in advance and I confirmed with the person that it is our anniversary and that we’ll be having the Degustation Menu etc. Upon arrival at the restaurant, there was no booking under our name, but we were quickly escorted to a table in the... Exquisite dining We took one of our customers for a year end function and I know it was one of the best choice for the year. Fine dining with a good ambience, professional team and good food. I recommend this place for any one for any special occasion. I loved the place so much I will visit it again in... More

One of the best fine dining experiences in South Africa. The concrete and wood building sits perfectly in the lush garden and creates a sophisticated but still intimate atmosphere. Food is presented and perfectly prepared with creativity and is extremely tasteful. Definitely a must in Pretoria!

We visited brasserie de paris last night for the second time. It was just as wonderful as the first time. Welcoming and cosy ambience with white linens, candle light and french background music. Every dish was a work of art with complementing flavours and textures. Service was friendly and professionel. The prices reflect value for mone in my opinion. We... More

The food we had was one of fine dining excellence. I have had Foie Gras on several occasions. This was the best of French cuisine. A brilliant dining experience. A recommendation to all who enjoy the experience of excellent fine dining.

Living in the faded glories of the past means that there comes a time and that time is now! Time to move - either up, on or out! The menu looks and feels as if it hasn't been changed for as long as the ageing decor or the irritating accordion player and the food seems to match the ambience. Kevin... More
