Fantastic food, so tasty! Weird location to be honest and they could do with a bit of a touch with the decor/atmosphere... but the food is so good you'll so not notice anything else!

Really good value for authentic indian food. Really great value for money. Really friendly staff make it a worthwhile evening.
When we arrived at the Mysty Waves hotel we were glad we could make a reservation for that evening at Tikka Palace and not have to go out for dinner. We had a nice seaview table. Staff was very helpfull to make a good choice from the menu. We decided for chicken vindaloo and prawns byriani, nanbread and a bottle...

We ordered food at 11:50 and only received after 14:00. The staff are fools and unprofessional. The manager has no control of his staff. Not sure if they needed to go and buy food.
The food was amazing! The service great! I can definately recommend this restaurant! 10 out of 10! We will definately be back with our friends!
We visited Hermanus in Nov and were craving for some good Indian food in South Africa. Our experience was totally great. Went there for dinner..ordered vegetarian food...and it was yum!!! Plus the light songs in the background added to the apetite. Will definitely visit both Hermanus and Tikka Palace next time we visit SA.
As far as I could tell this is the only Indian restaurant in town, but don't let the lack of competition deter you. Lots of space (you don't feel like you are sitting on some stranger's lap), good atmospheric decor and lighting and the curries are excellent.
Took over an hour and a half to get the food. Hate complaining at restaurants but when confronted the manager he was unapologetic and dismissive. When food finally arrived it wasn't even worth the wait.
The "Tikka Palace" Indian restaurant is situated on the second floor of Misty Waves Boutique
Hotel (where we stayed a week ~ see seperate review & book), overlooking the Hermanus cliffs and out to sea. My wife and I dined at the restaurant twice and can honestly say it was excellent in every respect. The staff were fiendly, polite and...

The food wasn't bad, it just wasn't good either. No spice at all - and one of my friends ordered the hottest they had. There was nothing though. Based on all the positive reviews, maybe they were out of spices that day? I'm not sure but I think people should lower their expectations.
