This restaurant commands a great view over the Candidasa Lagoon. We ate lunch here and it was delicious with a wide variety to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful and the chocolate dessert was magnificent. I would definitely recommend this place.

Visited here twice on a recnt visit to Candi Dasa. My daughter and Iboth had the same meal twice which was the fish and chips. The fish was very fresh as we saw them buying it on the stree from a local fisherman. Service is a bit erratic but food is fantastc

Dined here for breakfast as a change from our regular villa breakfast. We needed a good coffee... However the coffee was completely disgusting - undrinkable. We even sent it back after the first half a sip. The eggs Benedict were unlike anything we had ever tasted before. Tasted almost sweet - anyway it was completely wrong. The syrup for pancakes... This is a very stylish restaurant (and resort) established by a couple of French guys who arrived in Candidasa from Morocco. Their style and taste in furnishing the whole resort was impeccable and the restaurant enjoys a dress circle position on the Candidasa Lagoon. The varied restaurant menu remains much as before (ie pretty good) but the kichen now seems... More

We had a meal hear and expected it to be good as the place proudly displays a trip advisor sign at the front that it was number 1 in 2012 in Candidasa. Let me tell you it is rubbish. We had two main courses. My wife Mei Goreng that was dry and had no flavour.. The little old lady on... More

Although we were told the french chef who trained the locals is no longer working in the restaurant, the latter learnt well and the cuisine is excellent. There is quite a wide range of both euopean and local dishes to choose from. The decor is modern with deep sofas and bucket chairs, so pick your table with care for comfort,... More

The restaurant looks nice indeed, in red and white, and it has beautiful views of the lotus lagune. The food was tasty, both the balinese and western meals. But we were a little dissapointed because they didn't have our first option. The service was also good.

Six of us returned to Le 48 during our current trip to Candidasa. We had the shrimps in sarong for apetizer. They were absolutely delicious. We had a variety of mains, all of which were deemed excellent. The staff were friendly and happy to chat. The chairs show some age; however, they were comfortable enough, and we did nat have... More

We visited this restaurant 3 years ago - the food & ambiance was spectacular, so given the chance to stay & experience it again was an option not to be missed. They did not let us down. Wow, wow & wow! Presentation, attention to detail, flavours were all again fabulous. By staying this time we experienced lunch, dinner & breakfast... More

We were recommending this little place near the lagoon.. A touch of Paris we were told. Waitresses in little black dresses and gloved hand. The food was beautifully presented and quite tasty. We enjoyed or night and the atmosphere is quite pleasant. Value for money definitely
