The food was very good and the ambience was as well. Between the four of us we had the chef's favorite, the rib eye marinated in olive oil and spices, the trout, and the asado. For the appetizer we had the cheese and smoked meats which was just ok. Nice variety of cheeses and the meats were cold cuts variety...

We'd heard that argentinian steak was good, but with a south africa husband Ocho Cepas had a lot to live up to! It didn't disappoint, our ribeye and sirloin were hands down the best steaks we've had.
To add to that, the service was fantastic and the setting classy but relaxed. The waitress was polite, friendly and patient as we...

What a find this place was. Incredible service and incredible food at a reasonable price. We ordered the parrilla for one and the grilled pear and blue cheese salad which was amazing. The meat here was super fresh and cooked to perfection and the cream cheese bread dip that accompanied a bountiful bread basket was extremely memorable. I recommend this...

This place is located in a stately building in the middle of Mendoza, and seemed popular with tourists and upper class locals. We had steaks and the pear salad, washed down with reserve malbec (red wine). Amazing!
I don't like grass fed beef but was great at this restaurant and desert was wonderful
This restaurant, in my opinion, has the best steak in Mendoza. It has good prices, nice service and superlative food. This was our favourite restaurant when we were there. I have tasted no steak like their steak... Going there will be the best decision that you have made all week.
The meal we had at Ocho Cepas was one of the best that we had during our entire stay in Argentina, which spanning Buenos Aires, Bariloche, and Iguazu in addition to Mendoza.
I went at night. The place looked very nice, well designed and with style. The attention is normal, neither good nor bad. My couple and I both asked for the chef's recommendation: "Raviolon de Osobuco" a meat-fillled pasta. The sauce was too strong, it covered the rest of the flavors. Very good selection of wines. The dessert was really tasty.
Loved the wild boar tar tar.. Service was good. A great place to go for more than just beef! They have a good lunch special.
