Description: Voted the “Best Greek Restaurant in Phoenix” for the past 23 years. We are Arizona's Greek dining experience. Greekfest hosts a unique Greek dining environment where all the things that make life most enjoyable come together through a celebration of food, wine, good company, spirited music, and memorable conversation. Tradition and research have combined to make Greekfest the quintessence of the Greek Island atmosphere and culinary experience; its design and decoration exemplify the cultural, social, and aesthetical Hellenic Archipelago. Greekfest prizes itself on its reputation for culinary innovation and excellence. With a great variety of fresh seafood and delicately prepared lamb entrees, Greekfest robustly captures the essence of European (Mediterranean) cuisine and fuses it with dynamism and innovation.

The food and service have ways been superb. The co-owner (wife of the chef) always remembers us even though we're only in a couple of times year. Try the Greek antipasto for an introduction to a great meal.

It's a family owned restaurant that has been around for some 30 years. Though not a stunner from the outside it is one of the most well appointed attractive Greek restaurants from the inside.. The service was impeccable and being a slow night we conversed with one of the owners who with her husband were the chefs. The server answered... More

We have been here several times, for the fish. It is the best in Phoenix. It is, however, extremely expensive; I mean REALLY expensive. They get the very freshest imaginable, and, of course, you have to pay for it. They also cook it in a very expensive stove; a Bonnet, which is the same stove you find at Per Se... More

We experienced an authentic Greek dining experience in a Greek Island atmosphere with decorations that add to the Mediterranean atmosphere. The fresh seafood and lamb entrees were impressive. We decided on the Lamb Souvlaki, a marinated prime domestic lamb grilled on a skewer, served with a Greek salad and Solomos "Chios," a filet of fresh salmon baked in a delicate... More

My attendance at a conference corresponded with my brother's birthday in the same city so we planned a dinner at Greekfest (largely based on nice Yelp reviews). This was a party of 7 and nobody had been here before. It's a little tough to find (behind the Bank of America), and once there we were a little concerned that we... More

Having lived in Phoenix for 6 years, I often have the impression that no matter where I go for dinner, the menu tends to be the same: lamb, scallops, steak, etc. In addition, it is as if the dishes taste "the same", in a strange way. None of that here. I have been in the Greekfest several times, both with... More

Classy with a friendly appeal. Family owned & operated. I have taken several friends one at a time for extremely impressive Greek food. It's fresh & excellently prepared. Fantastic flavors. Have appetizers & some lightly fried squid with onions & spices. I really want it all. Everything on the menu is super. Susan the chef's & ower's wife is a... More

Greekfest has been in business for decades - run by the same husband/wife team from day one. This is high class Greek dining -- not for the 'quick bite' but rather for a special meal which one takes the time to savor. The various lamb preparations are top notch, the appetizers are excellent and varied and one could make a... More

We celebrated a family reunion and couldn't have chosen a better restaurant! The pita was so light and tasty. The humus plate was mouth-watering good, and those are just the appetizers! All the entrees are homemade works of art from scratch. Our evening was a great experience!!!

Music and interior made us feel we were back in Greece. It was so fun sitting there. But the food was not like what we've tasted in Greece or what is cooked by a Greek relative. It could be the owner was from an island we've never visited and that region's cooking is different. But the Greek salad had tasteless,... More
